The first test of erotic fiction is, does it make your naughty parts all engorged and tingly? This one failed utterly. And since the main character was exactly my type, that means the writing must have been _really_ bad. It was.Some women have the talent for writing M/M erotica, but many do not. Ms. Heeley unfortunately falls in the latter group. Sean's angst over having young guys throw themselves at him was unconvincing, and went on way too long. The sex, when it finally happened, was unconvincing.
Just from the standpoint of the mechanics of English, the writing wold have got a D, at best, in English Composition class. It had been through a spell checker, but the author had clearly not proofread it, or if she did then she needs to hire a competent editor. She consistently used "there" for ":their", "base" for "bass" (music), and "pecks" for "pecs". The latter two occurred on almost every page. There were plenty of one-off wrong word choices as well, and many sentences that seemed to be missing a word or two.
Not recommended, and I won't even be sampling any of her other work.

Its was an ok read for me, I would definitely read more work from this author, an amazing job, I give it an amazing 3 stars.
Story wasn't bad I just couldn't get into it. Lots of hair and sweat just wasn't for me. Seems like this is a continuation of characters from other books.
This story wastes no time in getting to a situation our leading man doesn't think possible ,much to his surprise and delight, a night of discomfort ends up in delight!
I guess I was expecting more from the title of the book per say. Just to end up in the shower and fantasize about a "promise"? Not really was I saw as I read the the scene in the club. This was an ok read for me. -Papi
I give effort for the time it takes to even write a story. However, I wasn't sure what the point of the story was.
When everyone sees you only one way, when you see yourself only one way, it is hard to want or accept anything else.
I wanted a little more. More about these people - why they were like this. More about where to next.
A good beginning. Is there, or will there be a HEA.
