Risks, Rewards & Consequences is a fact-based work of fiction that covers federal crimes where race, sex and religion are of no significance. It covers more than drugs, sex, and violence. However, no book that realistically covers crimes can be without those. It is a fun, exciting, educational, page-turner with fascinating characters from all walks of life whose family, relationships, friendships, cultural and even religious issues come into play....but, my novel has a twist unlike any other ever written --Urban or Mainstream. As the story is being told and the criminal activities unfold (Risks), I use clever ways to point out to the reader the realistic amount of money (Rewards) that the character will make, the Federal Statutes being broken, the Sentencing Guidelines outlining the amount of time that the judge can assess to the crime, along with fines and forfeitures (Consequences).

“Risks, Rewards, & Consequences” is the type of book that offers readers just about everything they might be looking for. Whether it be crime, drama, an unpredictable and exciting plot, and even a little bit of romance – it’s all here. I’ve read plenty of books that revolve around a book centered around crime and the drug trade, but I can’t say that many of them are executed and pulled off in the way that this book is – in fact, I’d consider most of the prior readers I’ve come across to be, to put it simply, corny and boring compared to this. I’d be willing to bet that the author has a true, genuine understanding of the type of plot elements he incorporated into his book, as opposed to simply trying to throw in plot details aimed at surprising and impressing the less street-savvy readers.The book is obviously aimed at entertaining readers, but I also noticed a few underlying themes incorporated into the book that revolve around cultural and societal concepts and issues – thankfully they’re not included in a boring, textbook-manner whatsoever, and I instead personally consider them to certainly add a sense of realism to the read. I must admit that I didn’t really admire Dion Cargill at first, and I was a little skeptical about how he would fit being the protagonist/main role of the story – but as the book progressed, I found myself admiring him more and I consider him to be one of those characters that turn out to be much different than what they at first may seem. Either, I enjoyed the book and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

This book goes 0-100 real quick. It always leaves you guessing. A must read.
A fun, interesting read on drug running from the Bahamas to Florida.
Most of the book seemed fairly realistic, with some exceptions such as
- I'm not sure all drug runners are quite as honorable and generous as those in the book.
- Perhaps not every beautiful woman is irresistibly drawn to drug dealers and more than happy to fulfill their wildest fantasies.
But apart from this, I found its description of the world of drug distribution quite fascinating.
Why does Dion bother going to college when he can make 400,000 in a mere 2 hours? Because it makes for a good cover and for some people it's not about the money, it's about the thrill of it all.
Risks, Rewards and Consequences is a fast paced thrill seekers dream. With characters that are addicted to that feeling of adrenaline mixed with fear when working a job and others that are convinced they're too sharp to get caught, this book makes for one interesting read. I found myself tearing through page after page of this book, eating it all up. Felon's writing style is quick but filled with well-written imagery and complex characters that any reader will grow to love. Felon even manages to include loads of technical jargon regarding different laws and still keeps the reader engaged. Definitely a book I would read again and would recommend to many!
